Property & Casualty Insurance Commercial Account Manager
Position Overview
The Property and Casualty Insurance Commercial Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, managing day to day policy service, renewals, endorsements, and coverage changes with care and accuracy. This role focuses on building strong client relationships through proactive communication, thoughtful coverage guidance, and timely support while working closely with carriers and internal teams to review policies, prepare renewal strategies, and identify opportunities to expand coverage as client needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive communication
- Conduct regular coverage reviews and risk assessments
- Ensure timely and accurate response to client inquiries and service requests
Sales & Business Development
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products
- Develop and present insurance proposals and renewal strategies
Policy & Account Management
- Manage policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and coverage changes in a timely manner
- Review policies for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with carriers to negotiate coverage terms and pricing
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures and regulatory requirements
Risk Advisory & Support
- Educate clients on coverage options, exclusions, and risk management strategies
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and underwriting guidelines
- Advocate for clients in claims coordination as needed
Skills & Experience
- Active Property & Casualty License
- Minimum two years of experience in P&C Account Management
- Microsoft Office
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Experience Strongly Preferred
- Applied Epic
- Adobe
