Position Overview
We are seeking a Small Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR-3) to join our team in Northville, Michigan. This in-office, full-time role provides essential support to our commercial lines team, ensuring a seamless client experience through outstanding customer service, policy management, and administrative assistance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with policy questions, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and billing inquiries.
- Support account managers and producers in servicing a book of small commercial accounts.
- Process policy changes, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding policy updates and coverage options.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
- Provide prompt, professional customer service through phone and email interactions.
- Assist with quoting and marketing efforts for new and renewal business.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial lines insurance customer service (agency experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Applied Epic is required.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
